Cheapside BID - Returning To The City's Heart

We returned to Cheapside BID in the City of London this week, following the successful ballot of businesses earlier in the year, which established the Cheapside Business Alliance.

The Cheapside BID was proposed by the City of London to complement and build upon the achievements of the Cheapside Area Strategy and the Cheapside Initiative, which have succeeded in bringing significant change to the business and retail environment through the involvement of land owners, developers and occupiers.

“The role of the modern BID is not just about improving areas, but increasingly they are powerful business alliances focused on CSR, the socio-economic agenda, community engagement, matching skills and training to jobs, and opportunities such as procurement."

Husna and Andy welcomed our first visitors on Tuesday and are already getting to grips with the area and looking forward to The Lord Mayor’s Show next month, and various activities running up to Christmas.

We cover the area between St Paul’s Cathedral and The Royal Exchange, right at The City’s Heart.
